Had my colonoscopy this past Friday. Experience was fantastic. I had one a decade ago and chugged the gallon of stuff all day and what seemed like gallons of water I was told to drink. Much different this time around. The low residue diet for two days was a little different - had not heard of that - and it sucked not to be able to eat crunchy peanut butter, nuts, fruits, vegetables, and steak and it was okay. The liquid diet day was a surprise - the drink mix was not a gallon all day. 5 oz at 5 pm and another 5 oz around 2 am and drink 8 oz of water an hour. Easy to do and the mixture did not taste horrible. Day of went very smoothly. Got there at 7. Checked in and taken back around 720. Got the prep done and then wheeled back. Rolled over on my left side and the next thing I remember is waking up. Staff was very nice and courteous and walked thru in detail what was going on.
The person at the front desk was very efficient and friendly along with the other staff members. They all made me feel comfortable. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Conkling.
Very professional . Knowledgeable personnel.Good around experience.
